Collection 2008

The beginning: ten designers presented their forward-thinking range of weird and wonderful objects designed for everyday living in a not-so-distant future. In an age of increased reliance on carbon emitting technology and a rapidly depleting natural resource pool, Postfossil addressed the question– How will we live in a post-fossil fuel age?

Our first collection was exhibited from 16.04. - 21.04.2008  at the International Furniture Fair in Milan. First Light was the winner of the Design Report Award!

05.07. - 05.10.2008  sports furniture & torre are exhibited at "a world of folk" in Stavanger, Norway
03.12.2008  treasure or trash goes NYC! "Cabaret Voltaire Boutique" in the Swiss Institute New York
09.12. - 11.01.2009  first light is the winner of the bronzener Hase at die Besten '08. Exhibition in the Vestibuel, Museum fuer Gestaltung Zurich
28.11.2009 - 30.04.2010  first light is exhibited in the tekniska museet in Stockholm Sweden
