Trattoria Utopia

Postfossil set up its exhibition ‘Trattoria Utopia’ during the Milan Furniture Fair (12 -17 April 2011) in Ventura Lambrate.

The Trattoria is a place where people from all ages and social circles meet. It is a melting pot, and a metaphor for today’s society.
A utopian story is set in an abstract world, in which an ideal counter-image is usually created in direct opposition to current social, political, and economic circumstances. The objects exhibited in the exhibition ‘Trattoria Utopia’ provoke discussion, encourage questions and allow new utopias to arise.
