Cagnotte is shown in the exhibition «Schwein gehabt.

Schaudepot is the name given by the Museum für Gestaltung to its new place in the Toni-Areal in Zurich West where exhibitions are shown and the over 500 000 objects that make up its Poster, Design, Applied Art and Graphics Collections are united under one roof.
«100 Years of Swiss Design» is the opening exhibition held in the Schaudepot and at the same time the first showing on this very broad scale of the achievements of Swiss design.
We are proud that treasure or trash is part of the collection and now shown in Raum Nord of the Schaudepot.
During the next six days, students of the preliminary course (Vorkurs) at the Farbmuehle Lucerne, are designing products for their every day life under the title «same same but differrent», a worskshop initialized and held by Postfossil.
The mobile «Joule» is now available in an edition with copper-, brass- and steel-pans. This mixture expresses even more the interdependence of different systems.
Please go to Editions to get more information.
During this years Blickfang we talk about our workshop «critical design / critical intervention» we held last year during our solo exhibition in the Forum Schlossplatz Aarau.
The participants had three days to design and realize an intervention in the public space.
Saturday 23rd of November 2013, 3PM at Kongresshaus Zurich.
There are lots of interesting talks during the two days of the Blickfang Vortragsforum. Please click here to get more information.

From the 26th to the 29th of September our carafe «stir it» is exhibited in the show les espaces du design - 4e sélection du design suisse during the Design Days in Geneva.
Presented during the Milan furniture fair and now available as Edition, «Joule» is a mobile formed by abstract pans jointed together. It expresses the interdependence of different systems and natural balance.
If any weight is applied, or if the mobile is touched, it will move briefly until it rights itself again and finds a new balance. The work is an object of reflection on the fragile interrelations within nature, the balance of the economy, and balance in our lives.
During the Milano furniture fair Postfossil is invited to the Design talk Social and ecological responsibility in Productdesign by INCH Furniture and the Istituto Svizzero Milano.

The three-part garden tool set is a tribute to the home-cultivation of vegetables in urban spaces. It is perfectly suited for working with small pots - for all you balcony gardeners out there! As always entirely made in Switzerland. Get your set, or just some more info.
Invited by form magazine we get a «Carte Blanche» for a double page in Slanted magazine No. 23. Both, form and slanted are taking a close look at Swiss design for their current issues. Get the Swiss bundle here.
Our new penholder is made of Swiss basswood with a natural resin finish.
The set contains three hexagonal containers of different heights and shades.
The three elements can either be arranged as a closed group or in a wild cluster, like crystals growing on your desk.
You can book us for Workshops from one day to one week. As we are several people with different backgrounds, we are able to tailor the workshop exactly to your needs. Please have a look at our Workshop Dossier to get an impression and receive further information.

Brand new and now available in our Shop! «Cagnotte» is a money box whose shape is modelled on that of an acorn. Coins are inserted through the slit on the underside. The wooden shell closes the opening and gives the acorn a stable stand.
Saving doesn't mean sacrifice; it's a challenge to ration available resources in a sensible way. To get to the savings, the acorn must be smashed, but only the saver can decide when the time is right.
We are happy to invite you to the group exhibition «Le petit GRAND» during Milan design week. We will present the two new Projects Joule a hanging sculpture and the money box Cagnotte, which both put the spotlight on the reflection of our acting.
The mobile Joule is an object of thoughts on the fragile interrelations within nature, the balance of the economy, and balance in our lives. The fragile dependency of weight and counterweight, the effect of the small on the whole system; in short, cause and effect are played out poetically in this work.
Cagnotte is a money box which shows that saving doesn't mean sacrifice; it's a challenge to ration available resources in a sensible way.
